BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE STAINED GLASS
for adults
with instructor Leslie Taylor
On Tuesdays for four weeks beginning Jan. 10th
5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Class Fee $75/$67.50 member rate plus a $75 materials fee

Students will be introduced to the copper foil method of stained glass while completing a flat panel. Students will cut glass, fit the glass to the pattern, apply copper foil and solder their work together. Students will choose from a selection of patterns provided by the teacher. The finished panel will measure approximately 7 1/2 x 10 inches. All materials are included in the class and materials fee. Intermediate students will work on an alternate project at their level

FUSED GEMS
for adults
with Leslie Taylor
On Tuesdays, Feb. 21 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. & Feb. 28 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Class fee: $65 /$58.50 member rate

Make a handful of glass "gems" in a small kiln using frit, confetti, stringers and dichroic glass. Learn basic techniques for fusing glass into pendants, earrings, pins, tie tacks, etc. Each student will design 6-8 glass gems. Jewelry findings will be available for purchase from the instructor at the last class. The last hour of the first class is spent minding the kiln to see when the gems are fused. This is optional for students but many will want to stay and see the whole process.

WIRE WRAPPING
for adults

Tuesday, March 6 from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Class fee: $100/$90 member rate
Bring those fabulous fused gems you made in your class here or bring beach glass, polished stones or any other object you would like to learn to wire and create stunning jewelry. Learn the tools and techniques used to wrap wire around the glass gems using gold-filled or sterling silver wire. Included in the class fee is a 5 piece set of tools and the wire used in class. The tools are yours to take home.
